You may have taken it for granted, and now you have one that isn’t so helpful and considerate. Remember To Talk
If you simply approach your neighbor and talk with them, that is the first step that you are willing to take some initiative. You might have a party that will go on into the wee hours of the morning, or suppose they are constantly parking in your reserved space, approaching them to discuss this is a positive first step. Or better yet, if you are going to throw a load party, be sure to invite them.
Whatever your reasoning may be, its best to address people in person and show them that you do care.
Don’t Intrude On Others Personal Space
Its seems easy to be considerate of others until you find that your needs are first and theres are not. You can still get what you want and keep your neighbors happy too. Just remember that your neighbors will be happy if you keep the noise down and the number of guests to a minimum. And be sure not to park in their space if it is reserved for them. If you do something that upsets someone in your community, you probably will hear about it. Nobody is perfect.
Know Whats Happening Around You
Is trash piling up outside your doorway or outside on your balcony? Are your friends taking your neighbors parking spaces or creating lots of noise in the hallways? Do you make it a point to see how some of the tenants are doing on your floor. Remember that your actions can have an affect on those around you. People you are friendly have a positive impact upon the entire community. Just think about this, are you the type of person that someone would come to for help?
Its really easy to think that your a good neighbor. Look at yourself from another’s perspective. Think about what improvements you can make in order to be seen as a friendly neighbor in your community.
