How To Move On Your Own
Wouldn't it be perfect if you had friends and family that would be willing to help you with your move at the drop of a hat. While that might be possible if they live in the same city as you, if you live far away, chances are you will be on your own.

Although having your friends and family assist you with the move  will result in a cheaper one, you can still find a service which is manageable.  Read on to find some moving solutions which will help you determine which one will be best for you.

Don’t Move By Yourself

The biggest mistake you can make will be to attempt to move entirely on your own. Many renters who cannot find the friends and family may attempt to move alone. After all how hard can it be to rent  moving truck and then load and unload all of your belongings. It might take a little bit longer but it can be done right?

If you do attempt to do this, it might be your worst moving mistake you can make. Even if you don’t have that much stuff, at minimum you will need one more person. Just think about the following:

*How will you move couches or other oddly shaped pieces of furniture?
*If you are driving the moving truck, who will be driving your car?
*How will you load and unload the heavy pieces of furniture into the elevator

You most likely will need at least one more person who can hold the elevator door open and you can also help you with the larger pieces of furniture that you do have.

A Full Service Move

This type of move with provide you with the most piece of mind. They will take care of the entire moving process. They will provide the truck and the hired help that will load and unload all of your belongings.  If you want them to pack your stuff to, you can pay extra for that too.

This type of service will be the most expensive. And you should get anywhere between 3 and 5 estimates.

Helpers

Moving helpers will be similar to friends and family who might assist you during your move. They will load and unload the boxes for you. You can even work alongside them and help you if you wish.
