The Memorial Heights area in Houston is becoming one of the more popular areas in the Inner Loop portion of Houston Texas. This area is near the intersection of I-10 and Studemont. Anything south of this point is considered Memorial Heights and it extends westward for a few miles. Over the last decade or so apartment developers have feverishly constructed townhome projects all over this area. These town-homes usually consist of two or three stories with a two car attached garage. Normally the master bedroom is reserved for the second or third floor.
The kitchen area is reserved for the second floor on the third story projects. And upgrades including granite counters and wood plank flooring are often found in these sorts of communities. Many of these town-homes start in the upper $300,000 price range. Many of these builders construct awful projects and websites in the city of Houston are dedicated to informing possible buyers of who to stay away from. However, in my personal opinion townhomes are harder to sell and do not appreciate as fast as normal single family homes. The area is also home to several new Houston Memorial heights apartments
The newest community in the area is City Vista. It is located just near the intersection of Dallas and Montrose. Rental rates are above $1200 a month. But renters are paying for the location as the Midtown and Downtown sections of Houston area minutes away. Also a variety of restaurants and nightclubs cater to a professional crowd.
