Houston, Texas has seen a plethora of apartment construction, however, with the state of financing many projects may be put on hold. There is a brand new project being constructed just South of the Interstate 10 Freeway and just West of the 610 Loop. This apartment community has a spectacular location as hundreds of thousands of people pass by this location weekly.
Most likely this community will not neet much advertising. The Alexan properties have not only seen expansion in the inner loop areas, the company has also focused attention in Northwest Houston and has purchased some older properties in the Houston Galleria too. Alexan Post Oak is one of the newer Alexan properties located near the McDonalds just off of Post Oak Blvd. Rental rates of this community start near $1200 for a one bedroom apartment. However, if you are going to spend this kind of cash I would recommend Gables Augusta. The hardwood flooring at Alexan Post Oak is not my favorite. We recommend our clients view a unit of the first floor of Gables Augusta.
All of their apartment homes located on the first floor have a gorgeous stained concrete. Some of our clients have leased units in the low $900 range. However, we look at all the amenities including square footage, pools, gymnasiums, and extras that apartments offer to come to our decision. Alexan Westheimer is also brand new. Their location rests the intersection of Westheimer and Shepherd. We have not had the time to tour the property as of yet but we expect the interiors are very similar. Rental rates at Alexan Westheimer also begin over $1200. But they will pay your water bill at this location.
