League City Apartments
League City Apartments for Rent
League City, Texas is a city just outside of Houston that has a great deal to offer those seeking an apartment to live in. This area is growing rapidly and developers have been hard pressed to keep up with the demand for new living space. Unlike other parts of the country, including California and Florida, the housing market in the Houston area has not experienced a slowdown.
League City is partially located in Galveston County and is very close to Lake Houston. Residents of League City can often be seen enjoying the activities and water sports available on the lake. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment are also just a few minutes away at the Kemah Boardwalk.
Because of the number of people migrating to the Houston area, developers are working at a feverish pace to build houses and apartment complexes in the League City vicinity.
The Ravello at Tuscan Lakes is one such apartment complex. Although it was just completed in 2006, this complex is nearly full. It offers many amenities not previously found in an apartment complex. Each apartment has its own full size washer and dryer, alarm system, and central heat and air unit. All have wood floors and modern energy efficient appliances. Private garages are available to the residents. Most units have an attached sun deck as well.
Sorrento at Tuscan Lakes is another new apartment living complex. This one was just completed last year and includes many upgrades. A resort style pool with a temperature controlled cabana, a reflection pond, courtesy WiFi in all common and public areas, granite counters, and other additions make this a premier apartment community. Together, these two complexes boast 204 units.
People have made it clear what they expect an apartment community to be. White counters and carpets are not on the list anymore. One major change in apartment living is that the newer complexes will allow pets where they have not been allowed in the past. More and more people are bringing dogs to live with them in their apartments. Of course, they must put up a hefty deposit beforehand to cover the extra repair and cleaning costs incurred by the property owner when the pet and its owner move out.
Apartment construction continues at a rapid pace in League City. The general slowdown in the new homes construction market indicates that more people will be in need of affordable apartment living in the near future. League City already boasts some of the finest new apartment complexes in the greater Houston area.
These are filling up so quickly that developers are working overtime to get more units built and available.

Availability is limited though because of the number of people moving into the Houston area to find work.
