Post Midtown Square may be the most recognizable apartment community in Midtown. Its location is 302 Gray Street. The apartment community contains 672 total units and has a construction date of 1999. A portion of the first floor is reserved for retail, restaurants, and more bars and clubs. And the higher floors are reserved for the renters.
Post Midtown Square apartments only contain full size washer and dryer connections, however you can rent a washer and dryer for around $35 dollars a month. It is interesting to note that every other midtown apartment has the washer and dryers included in the units. It was just a sign of the times when this Post Property was constructed. Camden has two separate properties in the area.
Camden Midtown and Camden City Centre (2007 construction date) both exist in this area and have a unique system of calculating rent. Rental rates change every single day under this system, so if you tour and decide to think about leasing at one of these Camden properties, the price may change if you do decide to come back on a later date.
If you do choose to live in the Midtown area you will most likely need a vehicle for transportation. There is a light rail that will transport you to either the Downtown area or Medical Center. However, in Houston its best to have your own vehicle for transportation.
